Important Information for Montana TurboTax Users
We’ve been notified that a small group of taxpayers who filed their 2007 Montana individual income tax return using TurboTax software may potentially have a tax return error. The error involves incorrectly reported federal tax payments and/or tax refunds.
We strongly encourage you to:
- Read the notice released by TurboTax to determine if this situation may apply to you.
- File an amended Montana tax return if you think you meet the criteria. In most cases, affected taxpayers will receive a tax refund.
